We express our sincere gratitude and admiration for the Schechter Manhattan COVID-19 Public Health Response Team – Randy Feld, MD, Neal Hoffman, MD, and Isaac B. Weisfuse, MD, MPH. Schechter Manhattan is fortunate to have three dedicated Alumni Parents who have and continue to volunteer since January of 2020 to head up our COVID-19 Public Health Response Team. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, their skillful insight and guidance has continued to enable our students and staff to remain in school and helped to keep our families safe and thriving.

Randy Feld, MD, is board-certified in cardiology and echocardiography and is a Fellow of the American College of cardiology. He is an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and currently serves as Medical Director of the Department of Echocardiography at Glen Cove Hospital. Neal Hoffman, MD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is currently an attending physician in the Division of Adolescent Medicine. He is an attending physician in the Division of Adolescent Medicine. and has worked as medical director of Montefiore’s Adolescent AIDS Program. Read more …
Isaac B. Weisfuse, MD, MPH, has been Deputy Commissioner at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where he worked on infectious diseases, emergency preparedness and response. Currently, he teaches at the Cornell University MPH program and served as a consultant to the World Health Organization on COVID-19. Read more …
